Benzodiazepine Addiction

Handling benzodiazepine addiction with Ibogaine requires a structured safety protocol. Unlike other substances, it's dangerous to undergo benzodiazepine withdrawals during ibogaine therapy. Therefore, we require clients to safely taper off benzodiazepines prior to enrollment.

It is of utmost importance for clients to openly share withdrawal symptoms, as ibogaine's potential effects on the heart rate coupled with benzodiazepine withdrawals might induce seizures.

However, even though ibogaine is not suitable for the process of detoxing from benzodiazepines, it is nonetheless effective in addressing the root emotional triggers behind benzodiazepine addiction, such as insomnia, anxiety, depression or emotional trauma.
